How do I choose a size?
Every product page has its own size guide, just below the product description, because each dress is cut slightly differently. Measure your child's height (without shoes), chest and waist (and shoulder, where the guide shows it). Find the size for each measurement separately in the table, then choose the biggest of those sizes. For example, if her height points to size 120 but her chest points to size 130, choose 130. Not sure? Send us her measurements and we will tell you which size we would order.
How long will delivery take?
Delivery times vary by destination. The following estimates are the total estimated delivery times from the date your order is placed:
- United States: 4–8 business days
- United Kingdom: 6–10 business days
- Australia & New Zealand: 4–8 business days
- European Union: 8–10 business days
- Gulf Cooperation Council states: 7–10 business days
- India: 6–10 business days
- Other supported destinations: 8–12 business days

I need it for a specific date. Can you guarantee it?
We cannot guarantee a carrier's performance, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we will do is tell you honestly whether your date looks comfortable or tight before you order. Email us with the date.
Will I pay customs or duty?
Silkvane ships orders to the destinations we currently serve on a duties-paid basis (DDP). Where import duties, customs charges, or destination import taxes apply, Silkvane arranges and pays these charges as part of the shipment. You should not normally be required to pay additional import duties or customs charges when your order is delivered. If a carrier or customs authority unexpectedly requests an additional import payment, please contact us at hello@silkvane.com before making the payment so we can investigate.
Are the dresses lined?
Our tulle and ball gown styles are lined through the bodice and skirt. Satin styles are lined through the bodice. Details are on each product page.
How should I care for the dress?
Dry clean is safest for the appliqué and tulle styles. Satin styles can be hand washed cold and hung to dry. Never tumble dry anything with applied flowers.
Why do the handmade dresses look slightly different from the photograph?
Because a person places each flower. The placement varies a little between pieces. The fabric, colour and construction are the same.
Can I return it?
Yes — tell us within 14 days of delivery and return it within 30, unworn with tags. Full detail in our Refund policy.

We currently ship to the United States, United Kingdom, all European Union countries, Australia, New Zealand, Gulf Cooperation Council states, India, Canada, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Norway and Singapore. The destinations available in the country selector and at checkout represent the locations Silkvane currently serves.
