2. Orders

Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the products in your order.

An order is accepted when we confirm it in accordance with our order process. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

a product is unavailable;
an incorrect price or product information has been displayed;
payment cannot be authorized;
we are unable to deliver to the address provided; or
we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

3. Prices, payment, duties and taxes

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on our website are shown in United States dollars (USD).

Payment is taken at the time an order is placed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

For destinations that Silkvane currently serves, orders are shipped on a duties-paid basis (DDP).

Where applicable, Silkvane arranges and pays import duties, customs charges and destination import taxes associated with the shipment. Customers should not normally be required to pay additional import duties or customs charges when their order is delivered.

If a carrier or customs authority unexpectedly requests an additional import payment, please contact us at hello@silkvane.com before making the payment so that we can investigate.

We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

4. Product descriptions and images

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, measurements and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Some of our garments include hand-applied flowers, appliqué, embroidery, beading or other decorative details. Because of the nature of these products, minor variations in the placement or appearance of embellishments may occur between individual garments and are not necessarily considered defects.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen, device and display settings.

5. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are stated in our Shipping Policy.

The delivery windows shown by Silkvane are intended to represent the estimated total delivery time from the date the order is placed.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occasionally occur because of carrier operations, customs procedures, public holidays, severe weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.

6. Returns, exchanges and refunds

Your rights to return products, request refunds or address faulty or damaged items are explained in our Refund Policy.

Nothing in these terms is intended to restrict or exclude any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country or region.

7. Children's clothing and supervision

Silkvane products include decorative children's occasion wear.

Some garments may contain applied flowers, beads, sequins, buttons, bows or other embellishments. Young children should be appropriately supervised while wearing garments containing small or decorative components.

Our occasion wear is not intended to be used as sleepwear unless a product is specifically described as such.

Please follow any care, washing and safety instructions supplied with the product.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content available through this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, product descriptions and website design, is owned by or licensed to Silkvane.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without appropriate permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
